The hair I use is 100% Human hair and originates from China. The hair is Grade A, Remy hair- this means it is cuticle correct and will not tangle or knot like cheaper hair.
If you're going abroad this is fine but ensure you shampoo the hair well after swimming. Sea water is not recommended for extensions as can knot them. Please check the destination has modern supplies of water as some EU and Carribean countries have high sulpher and copper content which can turn natural hair and thus the extensions hair orange-this happened to my hair once in Greece! Check online before you go.
Our Platinum Bond range uses the finest European premium hair which is above and beyond the quality found in Asian hair.
Before coming to have extensions fitted you should wash your hair with Shampoo but NOT conditioner- this makes the hair too soft and the bonds don’t set as a result. I will not be able to apply the extensions if you used Conditioner before hand. It makes it easier for me if you come with dry, parted and straightened hair.
Aftercare: You should not wash your hair for 24-48 hours after having extensions fitted- this allows them to fully set and for your hair to relax. I will inform you how to wash, dry and style your new extensions on the day and I’ll provide you with an aftercare sheet which tells you everything you need to know and highlights the key Do’s and Don’ts.

Various products are available to keep extensions looking their best. I can recommend the best products to use and I sell special Shampoos and conditioners designed for the extensions I fit. Hair extension brushes and shine sprays are also available.
**PLEASE NOTE**
Extensions require careful care and attention. Any client who decides to attempt to remove their own bonds may do so, but is reminded they are NOT covered under Bond Hair Insurance if they cause damage to their extensions or natural hair.
Hair Extensions will not cause damage to your natural hair if treated well and removed by a trained professional.
You should not book for extensions if you have any known allergies that could be worsened through the application of extensions.
However, the bonds used by Bond Hair are keratin based which is a natural ingredient and not known to cause any allergic reactions in the past.
